"This visit to Dominica was such fun. I can think of no one who has put as much care and consideration into planning a vacation. Thank you..."

DOMINICA
Morne Trois Pitons National Park and Boiling Lake are listed in Patricia Schultz's book 1000 Places to See Before You Die (Workman Publishing Company, Inc., 2003).
Nestled between Guadeloupe and Martinique, Dominica proudly proclaims itself "The Nature Island". From mountainous peaks up to 5,000ft to 12 major waterfalls and more sparkling flora than any guidebook could catalog, Dominica is one of the Caribbean's best-kept hiking secrets. Dominica is unique amongst its Caribbean neighbours in that it has yet to be discovered by hordes of tourists. No major hotel chains, no fast food outlets, no casinos or boardwalks here. The two main attractions on the island are hiking and diving. Our hiking program will take us to Middleham Falls and the Stinking Hole, Freshwater and Boeri Lakes, and the unforgettable Morne Trois Pitons National Park and Boiling Lake. We shall feast on Creole cuisine, go birding for Sisserous and Jacquots (wild parrots) and walk amongst the butterflies and heliconias. Our home will be the ocean-front ANCHORAGE HOTEL in the capital city of Roseau. It has a swimming pool and outdoor dining, and all rooms face west for breathtaking evening sunsets. The island is tailor-made for exploring; the weather is consistently sunny, the views are magnificent and the people are wonderfully hospitable. If you have an adventurous spirit and are looking for an unspoiled hiking experience, it would be difficult to top Dominica!
