Comfortable Hiking Holidays has been providing memorable hiking holidays since 1986. We offer a year round program of guided hiking holidays in Europe, North America, Asia and the Caribbean - from weekend getaways to extended holidays. Our goal is to offer you an unforgettable experience. We take care of all the details, from airfare to hotel accommodations to bus transfers and meals. The hikes are guided by one of our own hike leaders or by a local guide intimately familiar with the locale. We take you to spectacular vistas over variable terrain (from light to challenging) and you are free to participate in as many or as few hikes as you wish. Our promise to you is that you will hike an adventure and rest in comfort! One of the best parts of any holiday is the people. We have met some of the nicest, most interesting people in our travels and we are proud to say that some 70% of them return year after year. Comfortable Hiking Holidays is operated by Dream Tree Adventures, a family owned business with two primary interests: Les Descentes sur le St-Laurent, a white-water rafting operation located in Montreal, Quebec and Comfortable Hiking Holidays in Toronto, Ontario. Maddalena Molino - As head of Comfortable Hiking Holidays, Maddalena gets to experience virtually all our trips first-hand. Of course her job as hike leader is only one small part of her role - from translating an Italian menu and ensuring that our guests get on the right train, to fixing up scraped knees and negotiating the best deals for our guests - she does it all! Her passion for hiking is infectious, as those who have traveled with her will attest. Favourite hike: Komianata Circuit on the island of Corfu Robert Eschenasi - From marketing and promotions to scouting new locations and serving as hike/trip leader in England, France, Tuscany and Killarney, Robert wears a variety of different hats with C.H.H. His favorite, however, is making sure our guests enjoy all aspects of their C.H.H. experience. His role will continue to expand as he puts his leadership skills to good use in leading future hikes. Favourite hike: Asbyrgi Canyon in Iceland Davide Molino - Although involved with C.H.H. on a part-time basis (when he is not running our rafting company in Montreal), Davide has still found time to lead hikes in Cuba, Dominica and our Killarney Weekend. Rafting, bungee jumping, skydiving and hiking to base camp on Mt. Everest, are just some of the outdoor adventure skills he brings to Comfortable Hiking Holidays. Favourite hike: Boiling Lake on the island of Dominica Dayna Molino - Another key member of the Dream Tree Team, Dayna also does double-duty on rafting and hiking. An avid athlete, she has hiked and biked throughout North America and assisted on our Tuscany Singles trip and Cuba. We are delighted that Dayna's role with C.H.H. will continue to expand as she will join us in scouting new and exciting locations to offer our guests. Discover the Lachine Rapids! Les Descentes sure le St-Laurent is located on the shores of the Lachine Rapids, minutes away from downtown Montreal. We have been offering rafting and jet-boating tours since 1992. You can choose between rafting the towering waves of the main Channel or the calmer Family Discovery trip.
